Spirit of the Dance- Review

If you are a music and dance lover and have great fond of different kinds of music and dance, then just visit Branson, Missouri. This is the place, suitable to all. Many shows are performed there by international performers. The Spirit of the Dance is one of them. It is an international Irish style dance troupe. I personally go for the show and here is my honest review.

The show was approximately two hours long and simultaneously admissions took place till one hour. The show was bit boring with slow start. There was no complexity in the routines. The show did not come out of its monotony in some routines and the dancers seemed jaded which made the show little boring. The choreography was bad. There was zero connection between the people sitting in the audience and the performers. Even the lead dancers were not able to establish any connection as they lack on stage personality. Besides all this, the things that were up to mark were the backdrops, the bright costumes and the lights.

There was very little singing in the show, as the show is more about dancing, which was appearing very artificial. Moreover, the tap dancing and the bagpipe’s music seemed recorded as well.

But still you can bear a bad show but if you are short then there is another problem for you. The Branson Variety Theater was not comfortable; especially if you are a diminutive then you will surely face the problem in seeing the show above from the people’s heads in front of you. Branson is basically known for its friendliness and warmth but it was my worst experience there. Photography was not allowed in the theater.

I suggest you to not go for the Spirit of the Dance rather you can spend your pie on The Twelve Irish Tenors which is any day better then this. They sing and perform energetically. They know how to connect with the audience and how to entertain them. They perform to entertain and they have the on-stage persona. They also perform in the same theater, Branson Variety Theater.
