Dixie Stampede in Branson MO
If you are planning for a holiday trip to Branson then just get your tickets booked for the Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede. It is one of the most popular shows in Branson, Missouri. If you are coming in the tourist season then it is better to book your tickets in advance. This show is liked by children very much. Children of different age groups come for this show.
This is a best alternative to rodeo but still has many things in common to that like a great number of horses and ponies. The intelligent use of lights and pyrotechnics can be seen. The performers can be seen in very beautiful and colorful costumes.
There are two teams, compete with each other. When you go for booking, you will be asked to choose one of them, the Yankees or the Confederates. You will be seated according to the choice that you will made i.e. the Yankees will be seated on one side and the supporters of Confederate will be seated on the opposite side of Yankees’ supporters. It is better to arrive one hour before the show timing if you do not want to miss the pre show. There’s one more interesting feature about this show, you will get boot shaped mugs with the purchase of a cold drink. You will definitely love these mugs.
With the start of the show, an impersonator arbitrates a kind of feud between the teams. You can enjoy barrel races and pig races in this competition. This show also features competition between the audiences of the two teams on either side.
You will be amazed to know that a dinner is served during the performances. So if you want to enjoy the food, do not eat too much before the pre show. The food includes a whole roasted chicken, herbed potatoes, rolls, creamy soup and desert.
The show includes effective participation of the audience. Your children will be entertained fully. This show is for all ages to have fun. I must say, it is a fun show to enjoy with friends and family.
